Terremoto en Venezuela se sintió en Antioquia

Un sismo de 7.0 grados ocurrido en la costa norte de Venezuela se sintió en varios municipios de Antioquia, entre ellos Medellín, Itagüí, La Estrella y Envigado, además de otros municipios de Colombia, según lo reportado por los usuarios.

El temblor se registró a las 4:31 de la tarde, según informa el Servicio Geológico Colombiano, con una profundidad de 87 kilómetros siendo la ciudad de Irapa la más cercana al epicentro.

Por su parte, el Servicio Geológico de los Estados Unidos dice que el epicentro fue a 20 kilómetros del poblado de Yaguaraparo y la magnitud de 7,3 y 123 km de profundidad.
Hasta el momento las autoridades venezolanas no han dado reporte de daños materiales o víctimas, pero se encuentran haciendo un rastreo en las diferentes localidades.
Así mismo, la Unidad para la Gestión del Riesgo en Colombia realiza en la tarde de este martes un barrido con sus entidades locales y los consejos para confirmar daños o posibles afectados.

7 grados es un sismo poh :next:

Fue 7 mercalli en algunas ciudades, piensa que no son antisismicos y el terreno es distinto, hay videos en Caracas que esta super lejos del epicentro y se mueve todo, imaginate donde fue.

Sismo de 7,3 grados Richter afecta a Venezuela

 

Un sismo se registró la tarde de hoy en Venezuela a las 17.31 horas de ese país (18.31 en Chile).

Según el Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS), el movimiento telúrico tuvo una magnitud de 7,3 grados Richter. La Fundación Venezolana de Investigaciones Sismológicas (Funvisis) lo cifró en 6,3 grados.

El epicentro se situó 20 km al nornoroeste de Yagarapuato, en el norte del país, y su hipocentro fue registrado a 123 km de profundidad, informó USGS.

Según consignó Associated Press, el temblor se sintió en varios puntos de Caracas y decenas de personas debieron abandonar sus residencias y oficinas. Muchos permanecí­an en la calle mientras las autoridades les permití­an reingresar.

 

“Las muchachas lo empezaron a sentir y bajaron corriendo y se sintió incluso en las escaleras”, dijo a Reuters Jonathan Cuberos, de 39 años, gerente de un comercio en la urbanización de La Castellana.

Mensajes en redes sociales indican que el movimiento se sintió fuertemente en toda la costa norte del país.

Algunos videos del momento del movimiento telúrico fueron subidos a redes sociales.
